Uzbek Judo Champions Receive Presidential Honours for Elevating the Sport

In a prestigious ceremony held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, judo champions Diyora Keldiyorova and Muzaffarbek Turoboyev were honoured to receive the title of ‘Honoured Athlete of Uzbekistan.’ At the same event, world champion Davlat Bobonov was recognised with a special award, ‘For a Healthy Generation.’ The awards were presented by His Excellency Mr Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, showing his continued support for the promotion and development of judo in the country.

The recognition of these athletes serves not only to acknowledge their outstanding achievements but also to underscore the significance of recognising sport and the athletes who dedicate their lives to them. Members of the Uzbek national team winning medals at the highest level are inspiring countless young athletes to pursue excellence in sport.
