JUA Convened Executive Committee in Hong Kong, Approved 2024 EOG and EOR

The Judo Union of Asia (JUA) held its Executive Committee (EC) meeting on April 18, 2024 in Hong Kong, China. The meeting brought together top officials from the continental judo governing body to discuss key agenda items related to the organisation’s events and operations.

The primary focus of the meeting was to finalise preparations for the upcoming Asian Cadet and Junior Judo Championships scheduled to take place in Korea later this year. The EC approved the 2024 Event Organisation Guide (EOG) and Event Organisation Rules (EOR) to provide a framework for the successful hosting of this major continental championship.

“The approval of the EOG and EOR is an important step in ensuring well-organised and high-quality events for this year,” said JUA Head Sports Director Mr. Che Kuong Hon. “Our goal is to deliver an exceptional experience for the athletes, coaches, and spectators.”

Other key agenda items included reports from JUA’s various commissions and zones, as well as discussions around the 2024 JUA calendar and events planned for 2025. The EC also reviewed and approved the audited accounts of the JUA.
